MY JOURNEY INTO TERTIARY INSTITUTION – EPISODE 2

It was that time of the year that Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) was accepting applicants for Pre-Degree which was just a year program.

My dad got the form for me as adviced by an uncle and I started preparing for the entrance examination

As a brilliant teenager, I passed very well and was given admission into the department of Urban and Regional Planning (URP)

It was time for resumption and payment of school fees which was โ‚ฆ88,000 only. My parents gathered money from every corner that was legitimately possible and ensured I resumed so as to start attending lectures with my fellow Pedites

It was much easier for me to adapt to the new environment because I had a friend who also got into Futa through Pre-Degree. Bode Oria was more like a friend to me those days, he was in 100 level at this time๐Ÿ˜Š

The experience became much easier when my secondary school senior and friend was also into the same program I had gone to. Balogun Augustine made Futa experience so fun and memorable for me from Pre-Degree program till graduation year.

It was the time for me to get an accomodation and I deliberately told myself that I wasn’t going to stay in the school campus, I’d rather stay off campus. I always love and cherish my privacy anytime any day.

This was how Alade Akintunde came into the picture.

We became roommates throughout our Pre-Degree days.

It was such a memorable experience as Tunde started learning acoustic guitar ๐ŸŽธ and I became interested too, even though I wasn’t consistent with the learning๐Ÿ˜…

Before we graduated from Futa, Tunde had become so skilled with lead guitar and started getting invitations to play at different occasions. For me, piano was it every step of the way๐Ÿ˜

Wait, did I tell you how one fine and short lady started giving me signals to the point that she forced herself into our room and started staying with us?๐Ÿคฃ

Omooooooooooooo, e choke oooo๐Ÿ˜‚

Dammy was also a Pedite who wanted me to be doing stuffs with her and she made it very visible to everyone around us.

Did I do it or not?๐ŸŒ

Well, that’s story for another day ๐Ÿ˜…

I never liked reading the way everyone does, but since I was told severally that “Futa is very hard” and if I must make it through, “I must read very hard”

Therefore, I began to follow the reading plan of my roommate and it got to a point when I started following him to night class

See ehn, night class was not designed for people like myself at all๐Ÿคฃ

I stopped going for night class when I fell off the sit because I was already sleeping ๐Ÿ˜ญ

First semester exam was up, and it was that time to give back to the lecturers all we have been taught.

At the end of the exam, the result was released and after checking I realised that I’ve got more work to do in the second semester.

The average score was supposed to be 50, but for me I scored 48๐Ÿ˜ญ

It wasn’t a good experience for me at all since I knew second semester was going to be tougher.

1. Did I pass my second semester exam?

2. Did Dammy stop becoming a distraction?

3. Did I do stuffs with Dammy or not?

๐Ÿ“Kindly anticipate and find out in the next episode ๐Ÿ˜Š
